High pressure adsorption dryer
November 1st 2003

An adsorption dryer has been introduced by Beko Technologies to cope with the specific difficulties of high pressure compressed air drying. The Drypoint AC HP is suited to processes that need an unvarying supply of high-quality compressed air and a constant drying level. The company claims the dryer can offer significant benefits to such processes as drying of control air, granulate drying, laboratory and analytical systems, chemical industry, paint-spraying facilities, air-operated conveying systems, air-conditioning systems and the electronics industry. The Drypoint AC HP has high grade stainless steel desiccant tubular tanks. These enable the employment of a highly efficient re-calming zone with a separate storage function within the inlet area. Condensate is safely retained from the drying agent and discharged along with the regeneration air, which is said to conserve the drying agent, increase reliability and reduce maintenance costs. With pressure variants from 100 to 500bar offering flow rates from 60 to 820m3/h, Beko believes the new dryer to offer the high level of reliability needed in high pressure applications.
