A non-contact, IR temperature sensor from Raytek has a range of -40 to 600°C and can be seen at MTEC, Stand D94.

The MIH can be installed in environments with ambient temperatures to 180° without the need for water or air cooling accessories. It includes a Tefloncoated cable to withstand exposure to harsh chemical environments.

The sensor’s compact size allows for seamless integration into existing control equipment or OEM systems. An optional RS485 interface allows up to 32 sensors to be networked in a multi-drop configuration on just two wires, reducing installation costs.
