Lapp taps into sun July 1st 2005 Lapp is tapping into the renewable energy industry with a range of UVresistant cables, connectors and accessories. The collection includes Lapptherm Solar cables and Silvyn Rill PA slit conduit. The plug-and-play products are for photo voltaic applications, including solar panels.
The range offers a cabling solution for installations where solar cells are connected with each other or with a terminal box and inverter. The cables’ temperatureresistant insulation and outer sheath material permit exposure to UV rays and temperatures to 120°C without becoming brittle. Cables with cross-linked core insulation of elastomer compound or polyolefine are available.
Versions range from the TÜVapproved solar Plus and halogenfree Solar XL to the space-saving, semi-rigid Solar SR, with TPE core insulation and robust Solar plus V4A with stainless steel braiding.
Lapp’s Silvyn Rill PA is a black, parallel corrugated and longitudinal slit conduit that combines high pressure resistance with good weathering properties. More articles from Lapp Limited: |
