New brochure
March 1st 2005

Details of John Crane’s Metastream TSR range of close-coupled membrane couplings are available in a new brochure.

Designed to provide an effective, reliable solution where coupled machinery has a short DBSE (distance between shaft ends), the new units allow replacement of membranes without the need to move either of the connected machines.

Fit-and-forget TSR couplings are said to feature zero maintenance requirements, ease of assembly, low imposed loads and inbuilt overload protection collars.

ATEX-approved, the TSR is a dry membrane coupling for use where the DBSE is between 3 and 50mm. There are no moving parts and it flexes to accommodate lateral movements, so is suitable for short DBSE motor to gearbox connections where a high degree of reliability is required.
