New Flexicon bulk bag filler
March 1st 2005 Flexicon will show its Swing-Down bulk bag filler at Interpack 05 (21 to 27 April, Düsseldorf).
It has a pivot-down fill head, so the operator can connect empty bags at floor level and resume filling operations rapidly, without climbing steps or straining to reach overhead connection points.
The design simultaneously lowers and pivots the fill head, stopping it in a vertically oriented position that places the bag inlet spout inflatable connection, inflator button and four bag loop latches within reach of the operator at floor level.
A remote console or wall-mounted panel houses controls to raise and pivot the fill head into a locked, horizontal fill position, automatically inflate the bag, open a flow control valve or start a feed device, and to stop the flow of material once a preset fill weight has been gained.
