The compact Vegason 60 sensors are the latest development in non-contact ultrasonic level measurement for liquids and solids from VEGA Controls UK. As a member of the plics family, the Vegason focuses on low costs over the instruments lifetime. Sensors have measuring ranges from 5 to 70m depending on the product and application. They are also said to have one of the widest varieties of electrical connection options 4-20mA HART Profibus-PA and Foundation-Fieldbus. Trend recording of the measured value and the dynamic analysing of the echo curve on the in-head display characterise the software of the new sensors.
