Milton Roy UK has introduced a simple, yet highly reliable electronic proportional flow control unit that contributes toward extremely accurate dosing when used with its G series of dosing pumps. Supplied ready for use, the Varipulse unit adjusts and controls flow rates in four operating modes: pulse; proportional speed (manual or automatic); and frequency variation. It operates on the principle of vector voltage control of electronics. This involves compensating for variations in power supply voltage by adjusting and generating a voltage and frequency to control a three-phase motor through a series of starts, without compromising performance over the entire operating range.
