July 1st 2004 Pruftechnik says it has introduced the worlds first laser shaft alignment system that works with a standard PDA organiser.
According to the company, pocketALIGN provides a cost effective solution for organisations who want to implement laser shaft alignment but previously found the cost to be too high.
The new system is said to meet all the requirements for alignment of standard two machine systems, such as pumps and motors. Using single laser technology and EZ Sweep measurement procedure, pocketALIGN, with just 60 of shaft rotation required to complete the measurement, simplifies the alignment task.
