Suitable for tough applications, the MPTK cutter pump from Landia benefits from a special external knife system and, according to the company, it refuses to clog up.

It can be used for slurries and sludges that have a high content of solids to ensure that there is no downtime.

A high pressure version can pump long distances (more than twice the distance of conventional equipment is claimed). Both high pressure and medium pressure versions are easy to dry-install as they can be mounted at virtually any angle. A full range of custom mounting equipment is available.

Motors range from 0.55 to 30kW and the pumps have a special casing and impeller. This keeps the inlet opening free from impurities and effectively pulverises particles that can clog some pumps.
