ROBUST CABLE RANGE March 1st 2005 A highly resilient range of flexible control cables has been introduced by Lapp. The new additions to the Ölflex family feature a special insulation material developed by Lapp Group that permits safe exposure to heat, cold or wind.
The new Ölflex Robust is also resistant to water, oil, grease and chemicals, making it suitable for use in a diverse range of industries, from food and beverage manufacturing to pharmaceutical and sewage plants.
The cable’s outer sheath is made from Lapp’s new P4/11 compound to give it a high level of chemical resistance and an extended temperature range.
Proved to test standard VDMA 24568, P4/11 is said to offer a significantly higher resistance to test substrates than cable insulating materials such as PVC, PUR and rubber.
Cables are resistant to UV radiation, heat to 80° and cold to - 50° (arctic grade). Three versions of Ölflex Robust are available. More articles from Lapp Limited: |
