SERVO CABLE

Lapp has extended its lflex-Servo range of control cables with a new low capacitance, double-shielded motor connecting cable. The lflex-Servo 2YSLCY-JB offers low reactive power loss due to its special polyethylene sheath that is both lead and silicone free. It is suitable for variable frequency 3-phase ac-servo motor drives in machinery for a range of industries. Lapp says the cable has a low dielectric loss that is half that of similar sized pvc-insulated servo cable. Its EMC-optimised design makes it suitable for frequency inverters operating at high pulse frequencies to 20kHz and above and in applications where there are high noise levels as a result of electro-magnetic interference.
