Slipring collector columns
November 1st 2003

A new range of 4 to 400-way slipring collector columns is available from Metool Products. Designed and built to ip65 and conforming to WIMES 2.01, the column has captivated stainless steel fixings and heavy-duty aluminium or steel base units and enclosures, powder-coated to standard colours. The standard sliprings and brush-gear are continuously rated 10 to 200A. Other options include a choice of slipring terminations, top or bottom cable entry and silver or gold-plated sliprings for communication and plc circuits. For special applications, anti-condensation heaters and alternative materials are offered.
