Vibrair has designed, manufactured and commissioned a mobile 3-stage sugar handling system for a leading US confectionery manufacturer.

The system features two Flexflite flexible screw conveyors and a vibratory sieve and transfers virgin and recirculated sugar to and from the main extrusion line.

The first stage provides check sieving of incoming virgin pulverised sugar, bulk density 0.99g/cc. Stage two uses one or two 75mm dia Flexflite conveyors to transfer about 500kg/h a distance of 4m to a transition hopper above a sugar sprinkler. The third stage collects any unused sugar from a belt conveyor and conveys it back to the sieve before onward transfer.
