Biodiesel offering set to expand September 1st 2010 Alfa Laval AB has acquired the
remaining shares in Swedish biodiesel
company Ageratec AB which will be
fully integrated into the Alfa Laval
group over the coming months and
will be located as an application
centre specialising in the biodiesel
market in Norrkoping, Sweden.
According to Alfa Laval, the
integration of Ageratec strengthens
its overall position within the
biodiesel industry. There are
synergies between Ageratec's skid
mounted turn-key biodiesel plants
and Alfa Laval's pre-treatment
process technologies developed for
biodiesel.
Ageratec is a leading technology
provider of modular biodiesel plants
ranging in capacity from 2.000 to
340.000L/day, producing ASTM or
EN compliant biodiesel. Feed-stocks
for biodiesel include a range of fats
and oils, with a clear focus on
inedible feed-stocks having a high
fatty acid content (up to 100% FFA). More articles from Alfa Laval Limited: |
