Chance for some Lean Learning
November 1st 2009

Manufacturers are being offered access to the Lean Learning Academy at Jaguar Land Rover's Halewood centre of excellence thanks to an educational partnership with The Manufacturing Institute.

The Lean Learning Academy, which teaches leadership skills to supervisors and managers at Jaguar Land Rover, is making its resources available to other manufacturers.

The programme is completed over two weeks and covers a variety of lean principles through a mixture of classroom-based teaching, practical tasks and working on the production line. Participants learn how to deploy lean tools to eliminate waste and continuously improve the manufacturing process.
