The Authentic Food Company has installed a Claricom Package Coding Management System to eliminate risk and ensure the accuracy and efficiency of package coding for its broad range of meals for the food service sector.

The Package Coding Management software is said to eliminate human error and typically provides a return on investment in less than 12 months.

All product specific information, including coding rules such as product life, is maintained within the CLARiSOFT product database. CLARiSOFT package coding design software is used to create the templates that define the look and feel of the image such as date formats, text size, font and position.

The PCMS controls the date and traceability coding equipment and the barcode label printing equipment used for supply chain and distribution labels.
