In-line UV disinfection

The new bersonInLine(r) + medium pressure UV system has been designed for drinking water and wastewater disinfection. It combines the low maintenance, high efficiency and small footprint of the Berson's original product with enhanced performance, features and controls.

Independent bioassay validation has confirmed that improved hydraulics deliver superior disinfection performance with less energy. This level of efficiency lowers both system capital and operating costs.

Microbiological studies have shown that the closed-pipe design eliminates the possibility of photoreactivation, a biological phenomenon that allows microorganisms to repair their DNA.

Disinfection efficiency is further enhanced by the system's UV monitor that has been modified to measure system performance with improved reliability while requiring less frequent factory calibration.
