WORKSHOP UPGRADED
July 1st 2004

Westfalia Separator has upgraded its workshop facilities making it one of only a handful of workshops in the world to be approved formally to the companys new, exacting standards of workmanship and service. That quality is independently assessed and monitored by TUV to ensure that it remains at the highest standard.

Roger Smith, safety and quality manager, says a key change is the appointment of a technical safety officer responsible for the safety of equipment as it leaves the workshop. Its his job to check the workmanship and the overall condition of the equipment. If it does not conform to an acceptable standard, even in an area not related to the original fault, he will make sure its put right before it goes back to the customer said Roger.
