Pipework for ring mains
November 1st 2005

Legris has extended the range of its Transair rapid fit compressed air pipework with the introduction of two new sizes especially for ring mains.

Flow rates for the 76 and 100mm diameter pipes are said to be more than 50% greater than for the equivalent sizes in galvanised steel. Even at the larger sizes, the installation of the corrosionresistant Transair pipework remains a rapid process.

Each section is cut, joined by a cartridge and clamped securely into place in just a few minutes.

Reducers take drops to smaller diameter Transair 'instant fit' pipework, making the system suitable from the compressor through to sub ring mains or straight to point of use.

The interchangeable components are compatible with the four other sizes of Transair pipework, and the tubing is said to be extremely energy efficient.
