FOOD LABELS
May 1st 2005

Labelling systems that comply with the new European Food Law on product and ingredient traceability are available from SATO UK. Effective from 1st January 2005, the new law requires everyone at every stage of food production, processing and distribution to be able to show full traceability of all ingredients – even the ingredients used in animal feeds.

David Roome, marketing manager, says “Having our own software specialists, we work with businesses to tailor label design and production software so that it integrates with a company’s traceability systems.” The company offers a range of desk-top label printers and print/apply systems.
