Ensuring accuracy
January 1st 2005 Savoury product maker, Ginsters, has purchased a Claricom Packaging Coding Management System (PCMS) to ensure packaging and coding accuracy.
The system will provide control of coding data, enabling the company to meet the demands of retailers.
The PCMS suite comprises software modules to automate each aspect of coding management, from the origination of coding information to barcode packaging validation and the automatic communication of coding information to the online coding equipment.
It uses a combination of portable and fixed position unattended barcode reading equipment to give automatic network set-up of the on-line ink jet coding equipment and 100% barcode validation of individual cartons. More articles from Claricom Limited: |
