Improved accounting

Maxell Europe in Telford has improved its accounting following installation of a new weighing system from Mettler Toledo. The equipment was needed for counting as well as weighing very small components weighing 0.04g and, as Maxell Europe had successfully used Mettler Toledo equipment in the past, it had no hesitation in opting for the companys Viper MonoBloc system. MonoBloc technology is said to offer improved reliability and corner-load accuracy with long-term and temperature stability. The MonoBloc cell is available as a high precision weighing or counting scale in three platform sizes and weighing ranges from 1.5 to 35kg. The data interface, built in as standard, enables communication with a printer, a second scale, an auxiliary display or computer. Data gathered by the scales is uploaded to pcs via BalanceLink software. The programme offers high performance data communication between a wide range of Mettler Toledo instruments and application programmes.
