First accredited 'HAT' training centre November 1st 2007 Having launched its HAT (Hose Assembly Technology) qualification in the spring of 2007, the British Fluid Power Association has announced that Manuli Hydraulics has become the first company to be accredited as a Training Centre by the BFPA's Education and Training Committee. The HAT qualification certifies individuals who are involved in all aspects of hose assembly. Available as a three-stage qualification, individuals undergo a period of training at their place of work to attain a level of competency sufficient to enable formal certification.
