Hot stuff on show March 1st 2007 British firm Wellman Furnaces of Oldbury, West Midlands, is to exhibit at the "Thermprocess 07" show, which will take place in Dusseldorf, Germany, from the 12th to the 16th June. Wellman Furnaces, specialises in the design and build of a wide range of thermal processing equipment. Examples of this range will be illustrated at the exhibition. At the time of the show, the company will be assembling, installing and commissioning their latest furnaces for the automotive and aerospace industries. These include 2 x 55m long Roller Hearth Units (capable of a throughput of 6.5 tonnes per hour of rapidly transferred (200m/ min+) coated and uncoated steels for the production of high strength automotive body parts), specialised sealed quench furnaces, very large titanium furnaces and a roller hearth furnace for steel plate hardening. Wellman heat treatment furnaces are for the prime production of plate, strip, tube, bar and finished machined components in the metals industries.
