Mixer helps with QC

Lanes Health manufactures many different healthcare products, including 15 different types in tablet form, plus other tablets for its contract customers.

It recently installed a new, all stainless steel mixer from Ytron-Quadro (UK) that is said to offer benefits for the production of solutions and suspensions used for filmand sugar-coated tablets.

Benefits claimed include faster mixing, assured homogenous characteristics (even when iron and zinc oxides are used), and minimal air-intake that results in shorter waiting times.

The mixer delivers dry ingredients directly to the mixing head where it achieves instant wetting and absorption, avoiding problems of surface retention
