Oil separator

Laval's Emmie.2 portable oil
separator uses PLC controls,
automatic back-pressure and
heater controls to make easier the
job of separating water, dirt and
other impurities from industrial
fluids such as hydraulic oils.
It can be used with tanks to 3m3
and handles flow rates to 200L/h.
The company says tests have
shown the machine will reduce
water contaminants to less than
0.2% faster than other separation
technology. The user can set the
machine simply by punching in the
viscosity of the fluid to be purified.
A software program sets, monitors
and controls parameters for fluid
temperature and flow. Once set,
the centrifugal separator removes
virtually all water and other impurities
