Helping with the food Cycle January 1st 2006 Alfa Laval will use its stand at the 2006 Foodex-Meatex exhibition (19 to 22 March, NEC) to show how its products and services are used at every stage of the food processing cycle.
Its stand will feature equipment from the company's core technologies of heat transfer, filtration, separation and fluid handling to service and maintenance.
It will demonstrate its Toftejorg tank cleaning machines that, it says, can improve cleaning efficiency and reduce water and chemical consumption to such an extent that pay-back can be within 9 to 12 months.
On the heat transfer side, Alfa Laval will exhibit several heat exchangers developed specifically for food processing duties. The Contherm scraped surface heat exchanger has scrapers that continuously scrape its interior surfaces, preventing fouling and ensuring that heat is transferred uniformly. The viscoline tubular heat exchanger and M10 Front- Line plate heat exchangers will also be on show.
