Life cycle management
November 1st 2007

W@M – Life Cycle Management from Endress+Hauser is an open information management system providing data flow and archiving for the technical and operational management of a plant.

From engineering, procurement and commissioning through to operation, maintenance and the replacement of individual components, W@M is an open and flexible information platform with on-site tools and services.

In the initial engineering phase, W@M offers support in the selection of the most appropriate instruments and the specification of measurement technology to best fit requirements. Simple to navigate, the Endress+Hauser Applicator tool assists in the selection of the correct measurement instruments and provides access to an extensive library of documentation.

With Applicator, the initial information is created for a W@M data record that clearly identifies the instrument and makes it traceable for all subsequent processes in the instrument's life cycle. During the procurement phase, W@M helps check availability and prices quickly and efficiently – simply place the configured instrument in the shopping cart and place your order. Immediately, the status of the order or shipment can be monitored online.

In the commissioning phase, W@W –Life Cycle Management provides all the information needed for safe installation and commissioning. Documentation, software or certificates can be quickly downloaded in a variety of different languages.
