Built for long life
January 1st 2007

Available through Michael Smith Engineers, Hydra-Cell sealless positive displacement pumps are designed for long life even in the most arduous of conditions.

Suitable for use in clean, dirty, hot, high pressure, low pressure, thick, gooey, abrasive and flammable pumping applications, they are said to operate with minimal stress.

The pump drive shaft is rigidly held in the pump housing by a large tapered roller bearing which is immersed in a lubricating oil bath and a fixed angle cam translates rotary motion into linear motion to the hydraulic cells, which displaces the diaphragms via pressurised oil. This results in hydraulically balanced diaphragms, so stress is eliminated.

Hydra-Cell pumps cover flow rates from 0.4 to 128L/min and pressures to 172bar. They provide repeatable, accurate output, so are well suited to metering and dosing applications
