Direct-acting
January 1st 2011 Eaton Corporation has introduced
new direct-acting, poppet style, relief
valves. The vickers valves provide a
compact and cost-effective solution
for handling high pressure and flow
requirements in primary metal, press
(metal and non-metal), marine,
offshore, civil engineering, and
general market applications, and can
be used for safety circuits.
The valves offer rated pressures,
adjustable from 25 to 400 bar with
flow rates to 350 LPM. They come
in cartridge, subplate, and inline
mounting styles in sizes 6, 8, 10, 12,
16, 20, 25 and 30. They comprise
sleeve, spring and poppet with an
adjustable damping spool. The
setting of the spring pressure is
