Eco-designed pump range

After securing ISO 14001 environmental certification at its manufacturing centre, PCM has introduced a new progressive cavity pump with the environment very much in mind.

The Eco-Moineau Series is said to be cheaper to buy, operate and maintain and to offer customers financial and environmental benefits.

The pump is compact and more than 30% shorter than conventional PCPs. Whereas many traditional PCP installations must have sufficient space around them for the removal of the rotor and stator, this is not required by the EcoMoineau, giving substantial savings on civil engineering costs (reduced sizes of concrete plinths and buildings).

Smaller and lighter than the company's previous versions, the pump uses less raw material, less energy to manufacture and deliver and less energy to operate.
