A new engineering centre at BSS Industrial's Pegler & Louden facility in Nottingham brings together the valve and actuation expertise of Pegler and Louden, the carbon and stainless expertise of Austin Stroud and the pump spares and service capability of AMS Pumps.

As part of the BSS Group's 500 000 investment in the industrial market, the Engineering Centre offers specialist technical sales and operational expertise to customers in the building services, industrial and process markets.

Operational expertise is available for valve assembly, actuation and testing, seat and seal changes and recertification, certified and general arrangement drawings in 2 and 3D, project and contract capability, full documentation packages, specialised machining for modification of flange product, specialised machining for special requirements and pump spares, service and commissioning.

Two Ball valves have been added to the Boss range from BSS: a onepiece valve with a reduced bore and a full bore, three-piece valve. Both are cast in stainless steel.
