May 1st 2007 Crowcon's intrinsically safe
Detective+ free-standing,
transportable gas detector has
been granted IECEx and ATEX
certification for use in temperatures
to 50°C. This makes it suitable for
use in explosion hazard areas in
hot climates or in hot internal
environments.
For use wherever there are shortterm
gas hazards, Detective+ can
be used individually or in groups,
each monitoring up to four gases
at once. If a dangerous gas level is
detected, the device warns with a
wailing 104dBA siren and flashing,
high intensity LED beacons that are
visible from all angles.
