Handles high viscosity media
September 1st 2006

The new Viscoflux barrel emptying system from Flux Pumps is designed to help users efficiently and cost effectively empty barrels containing high viscosity materials.

To transfer products such as grease, ointment, silicone, paint or tomato pulp from 200L barrels, Flux offers a portable system that provides flowrates to 40L/min. It comprises a ram guide with follow-on plate, and operates with Flux's Type F 550S and F 560S progressive cavity pumps and a three-phase electric or compressed air motor.

The system is designed with a mechanical seal to ensure the integrity of fragile media.

When the barrel is emptied, the follow-on plate is raised by two pneumatic cylinders, and both the Viscoflux system and pumps are easily dismantled for cleaning.
