Hot on hygiene
March 1st 2007 AxFlow is introducing a hygienic pump from Wilden that can handle demanding sanitary and hygienic applications. The new 38mm Wilden PV4 stainless steel pump, which is EHDEG Doc.2 Doc.3 compliant and certified to 3A standard 44-03, can be configured to satisfy CIP requirements for the prevention of microbial contamination. Supplied by AxFlow with the Pro-Flo V air distribution system, PV4 can be used for a wide range of pharmaceutical and food processing applications. All wetted components are made from passivated 316 stainless steel and polished to Ra0.8µm. Having a maximum flow rate of 352L/m and maximum operating pressure of 8.6bar, the PV4 can pass solids of up to 6.4mm. More articles from AxFlow Limited: |
