July 1st 2007 Described as powerful, fast,
economical and versatile, the new
Finish Thompson SP series
magnetic drive, self-priming
centrifugal pumps are available
through Michael Smith Engineers.
The pumps have deep lift
capabilities, to 7.6m below the
pump, and fast priming: 4m in
90sec. Suitable for handling fluids
with high specific gravities to 1.8,
they are said to offer safe, reliable,
low maintenance operation due to
their magnetic drive technology.
This eliminates the need for seals
and therefore removes the
potential for leaks.
The pumps, in polypropylene or
PVDF are able to run-dry without
