Small claim July 1st 2004 Described as the worlds smallest non-contact infrared sensor, the Micro IRt/c from QHi-Infrared measures 2.54cm in length and is 0.63cm in diameter.
No power is needed for the sensors and they connect directly to temperature measurement and control instrumentation. Their exceptionally small size is said by the company to enable non-contact infrared technology to be fitted for the first time to some equipment and processes where space is a major factor.
Sensors come in various temperature ranges, and optional aluminium air purge kit makes it possible to use the Micro even in harsh environments. More articles from QHI Group: |
