BOC Edwardss EM range of rotary vane vacuum pumps now has a universal motor that enables companies to cut stock, maintain continuity of product across facilities and run efficient exchange or upgrade programmes.

The E1M18, E2M18 and E2M28 pumps have a switch inside the terminal box to select either a high or low voltage setting, enabling the pump to run at 115 and 208v for the USA, 200v for Japan and 220 or 230v for Europe. The electrical connection to the pump uses an industry standard connector and no additional wiring is required.
