The Dolphin LX close-coupled liquid ring pump range is available from Busch (UK) for a wide range of applications that require a vacuum pump.

The liquid ring technology works with one moving part, the impeller shaft assembly, which is mounted eccentrically relative to the casing.

The liquid ring is formed by the service liquid, normally water, rotating concentrically in the casing.

Process gas enters via the suction port and travels between impeller blades. It is compressed prior to ejection through the discharge port with a quantity of service liquid.

Ultimate pressure is 33mbar and key features include compact, single-stage design, easy access for inspection, low noise and vibration-free operation.
