Valve aid
March 1st 2007

Netherlocks has developed a flexible shaft system to facilitate the operation of valves that are inconveniently situated.

The Nether-Flex quickly brings handwheels into an ergonomic position without modifications to pipework. There is no need for scaffolding or a chain wheel.

The system comprises an operator unit, situated in a safe, convenient position, and a second unit that is mounted on the original valve. A flexible connection runs between the two stations and a counter with easily adjustable set points is integrated into the operator station to indicate whether the valve is open or closed.

Two valves in close proximity can be connected and operated with the Nether-Flex
