Valves eliminate signal loss
March 1st 2009 Eaton Corporation has announced
that three series of Vickers directional
proportional valves with on-board
electronics have been upgraded with
a 4-20 mA control command option.
This is in addition to the voltage
command already available.
Benefits of the new command
option on KBSDG-3/5, KBFDG-3/5
and KBHDG-5/7/8/10 11 design
series directional proportional valves
include maintaining the integrity of
the command signal over lengthy
cable and improved noise immunity.
"The new -11 design series
supersedes the -10 design series," says
Colin Cooper, product manager
Industrial Controls, EMEA. "The
new valves are completely backward
compatible, electrically, hydraulically
and mechanically. They will be
shipped with optimised adjustments
that will provide both consistent flow
gain and excellent reproducibility
valve-to-valve, to
provide a true
'plug-and-play'
