ATEX sensors
September 1st 2007 Hansford Sensors has launched a
range of ATEX and IEC Ex certified,
intrinsically safe vibration sensors
to its HS-100 series of industrial
accelerometers. The range is for
use in applications where the
environment contains inflammable
gases, fumes, chemicals, powders,
dusts and so on.
The sensors will allow engineers
to monitor vibration levels of
pumps, fans, compressors,
motors, conveyors and all types of
rotating machinery in a potentially
explosive environment.
The new HS-100 sensors are
sealed to a minimum of IP67 and
can be used in Group I (Mining)
and Group II (Petrochemical)
