Designed for CIP
May 1st 2009

Burkert's new 8221 conductivity sensor is designed for CIP, even during steam sterilisation. This allows the sensor to provide the time and cost saving benefits of phase detection across all transmitted media, including aggressive cleaning agents. It guarantees transparency of the process at all times, and automatic protection for the user against errors in fluid handling.

Hygienic design and robust construction make the Type 8221 conductivity sensors suitable for demanding conditions in, for example, food and beverage, and general chemical industries.

The sensors offer 4-electrode technology for extended measuring range (0.1 µS...500mS/cm).
