Vibe sensors May 1st 2007 Hansford Sensors has launched a
series of piezoelectric vibration
sensors to monitor vibration levels
on plant and machinery across all
types of industry.
Many maintenance engineers
rely on sensors to detect
increasing levels of vibration from
bearings, shafts and other rotating
components to warn them of
inefficient operation or future failure.
The HS series of vibration
sensors offers a choice of AC,
velocity or 4-20mA outputs to suit
differing applications. Units are
robust, of welded stainless steel
construction and have high shock
tolerance and a wide temperature
operating range.
A choice of models offers side or
top entry connector, tough braided
cable and a submersible version
sealed to IP68 is capable of being
submerged to 100m. More articles from Hansford Sensors Ltd: |
