Keeps workers off the stack
September 1st 2006

Emerson Process Management has introduced Rosemount Analytical's SPS 4001B, IMPS 4000 and MPS 3000 self-triggering autocalibration systems for in-situ oxygen analysers.

When used in combination with the Rosemount Analytical Oxymitter and 3000 analysers, these cost effective sequencers ensure that O2 measurements are accurate without having to manually initiate calibrations, safely keeping workers off the stack and operations running at optimal efficiency.

The SPS 4001B autocalibration sequencer is for single probe applications; the IMPS 4000 and MPS 3000 multiprobe versions are for applications with up to four O2 probes. Units can be added easily to existing oxygen installations, and have HART digital communications, enabling the user to set up, calibrate and troubleshoot from any location where the analyser's 4-20ma signal is terminated and accessible.
