Testing trolley May 1st 2007 Crane Electronics has a new
mobile tool torque station. Highly
manoeuvrable, the MTTS Opta is
designed for production line-side
testing of all continuous
drive, impulse
and hand
torque tools in all
types of industries.
Depending on the
application, a
combination of
stationary and rotary
transducers can be
specified. The torque
range of Crane's rotary
transducers goes from 0.2 to
5000Nm. The stationary
transducers can be mounted both
on the top surface of the trolley or
vertically on a plate on the surface.
The stationary transducer can
cover a torque range from 0.2 to
1600Nm dependant on the type of
tool being tested. To eliminate
operator fault and ease
operation, the MTTS
Opta unit has a
switching module
which allows the
software to select
automatically one of
three transducers. It
will track the last
transducer, even if it is
put in a different
connector socket. All
torque data can be downloaded to
PC or a network. More articles from Crane Electronics Ltd: |
