Quick to detect equipment problems January 1st 2008 New thermal imagers from
Fluke (UK) are designed to
make thermal imaging
affordable and effective for day-today
troubleshooting and
maintenance of electrical
installations, electro-mechanical
and process equipment, HVAC/R
units and other industrial and
electrical equipment.
The Fluke Ti25 and Ti10 feature
IR Fusion technology which
integrates IR and visible light
images in full screen or picture-inpicture
views for enhanced
problem detection and analysis.
Built to withstand harsh work
environments, the new thermal
imagers feature a three-button
menu designed for intuitive
operation and navigation with the
push of a thumb, the ability to
record and save voice comments
with every image taken (Ti25 only),
and on-screen emissivity correction
(Ti25 only).
With a widescreen full colour
LCD, optimised thermal sensitivity
and a temperature measurement
range of -20 to 350°C for the Ti25
and -20 to 250C for the Ti10, the
thermal imagers are suitable for
most industrial, electrical and
commercial operations, allowing
users to operate from a safe
distance and still see small
temperature differences. They are
tested to withstand a drop of 2m
and have an IP54 rating.
Fluke SmartView software (with
free software upgrades for the life
of the product) is included with
each thermal imager.
Both the Ti10 and Ti25 include a
2GB SD memory card that will
store at least 3000 basic infrared
images.
