Thermal imaging cameras
January 1st 2008

FLIR Systems offers a comprehensive range of thermal imaging cameras and updates the range to accommodate new application needs and to take advantage of new protocols and software developments.

Recent additions include a midrange camera. The ThermaCAM TSeries is compact, low weight and has the performance normally expected from a higher-end camera.

Designed for a frequent user of infrared, the ThermaCAM T-Series has a number of time-saving features to make the job easier and quicker. The camera, for example, features Thermal Fusion. This allows the automatic and seamless transition of images from thermal to visual and vice versa while retaining all measurement functions in both view modes.

Images are displayed on a 3.5in touch screen. This opens up the possibility of additional functions such as sketching via stylus and text entry via on-screen QWERTY keyboard.

For those seeking advanced capabilities, the ThermaCAM P640 is a portable 640 by 480 infrared camera that provides more than 707 000 measurement points. Its image quality allows the camera to be used further from the target.
