Air velocity March 1st 2004 A new ultrasonic anemometer has been introduced by Airflow Developments. It has a compact ultrasonic sensor that measures clean air velocity to 30m/sec, volume flow and air temperature.
Direct display of percentage turbulence intensity means a method of calculating indoor draught around a person can now be determined. This is an important when assessing the indoor environment because maintaining adequate air movement without creating draughts is key to creating a healthy atmosphere for people to live and work in.
The UA30 Anemosonic anemometer is unaffected by changes in temperature, relative humidity, barometric pressure or air/gas density variations.
By sensing at 3840/sec, any changes in ambient conditions are rendered irrelevant. More articles from Airflow Developments Ltd: |
