Two JS Humidifiers’ Neptronic SKE resistive steam humidifiers provide 40kg/h of steam for the Royal Crown Derby Porcelain Company to meet the close control humidity requirements required in its litho printing and transfer area.

Jim Buckley, works engineer, explains "The SKE humidifier was selected as we needed a unit that was low in maintenance and that provides very close control over humidity to maintain the 53 to 57% RH we require. As the SKE has a scale management system and doesn’t need replacement boiling cylinders, it was also going to be the most economical.

"Since the unit has been installed, we have incurred no production loss through dry air or equipment breakdown, which has resulted in greater productivity."
